Our Player Pathway

Prince William Courage, an inaugural member of the Players First license, aspires to promote players to play at the highest level possible. We aim to create opportunities for players to play in High School, College, and Professional ranks. Over PWSI's 40+ years of history, we have produced countless college players and several professional players. To learn more about PWSI's history, please click here.

Through a partnership with Virginia Soccer Association (VSA) in 2015, PWSI founded the Virginia Development Academy (VDA), providing the highest level of youth soccer in the US. VDA teams participate in the Boys & Girls ECNL. In 2021, PWSI aligned its top Select teams and joined the ECNL Regional League (ECNL-RL). Other competitive teams participate in one of the best local leagues in the US, National Capital Soccer League (NCSL).

The foundation of all soccer begins with our grassroots programs. These grassroots programs include the Courage Development Program (CDP), a training program available for U7-U8 players as they prepare for competitive programs such as U9s, and Courage recreational programs. Recreational programs are available for players U4-U19 at all levels of play. Courage recreational programs are broken up into the Courage Cubs (U4-U6), House League (U7-U12), and Suburban Friendship League (SFL).
