Girls Assistant Director of Coaching
Summary
Reporting to the Technical Director, the GIRLS Assistant Director of Coaching will be a part of the PWSI technical staff focusing on player and coach development of the select program. We are actively looking for self-motivated individuals seeking to build a career in youth soccer. PWSI participates in the ECNL-RL and NCSL and is a founding member of the Virginia Development Academy.
Desired Qualifications
- Organized and self-motivated young professional seeking to build a career in youth soccer
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Experience managing players, coaches, and programs
- Desire to earn a USSF License
- Coaching and playing experience
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the PWSI periodization/methodology
- Head coach for teams within the PWSI Select Program
- Recruit, develop, and manage PWSI coaching staff
- Assist in organizing and hosting formal coaching education programs as appropriate
- Identify and promote player movement to Virginia Development Academy

Compensation - TBD based on qualifications
- Salary Band: Management

Select Staff Coach
Summary
Prince William Courage's Competitive Select Program is a holistic program that focuses on individual player development by placing players in teams with like-minded/skilled players. Coaches within the organizations will develop each individual to maximize their potential both on and off the field.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-5 years experience coaching soccer teams
- USSF Grassroots License
- Must possess a dedication to player development, parent education, and self-development
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain professional and effective relationships with Academy administrative staff, parents, and players
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Grow player's pride, passion, and possibilities to create a love for soccer by delivering safe, fun, and engaging training sessions
- Be engaged and attentive
- Communicate with parents in a timely and professional manner
- Focus on individual player development within the team dynamics
- Perform written and verbal player evaluations
- Follow Courage Professional Curriculum and enforce club policies
- Participate in all club coaching education sessions
Details
Prince William Courage Competitive Select Coach is a part-time position that will run on the field from August to May. Equipment will be provided, pay is competitive and commensurate with experience. Coaches are supported by a full-time administrative staff (operations, tournament registration, communication, facilities, etc.), team managers, and more. Coaches must pass a background test.
